Illuminate, Science Museum
Illuminate is a dedicated, multi-purpose events venue situated on Levels 4 & 5 of the Science Museum.
This multi-award winning space is available for both daytime and evening exclusive hire, with capacities of up to 400 for conferences and dinners, or 450 for receptions.
The light and dark architectural concept across the two floors offers contrast and versatility for many different event formats, including launches, activations, awards, conferences, fashion shows, receptions and lunches or dinners. A panoramic window on Level 5 offers stunning city views and abundant natural light to enhance the environment.
As Illuminate’s in-house production service partner, WL has equipped the venue with a state-of-the-art integrated AV solution throughout and a flexible range of packages for lighting, audio, video and scenic options.
Illuminate can also be hired in conjunction with the Smith Centre, offering four further event spaces of varying size. Featuring the same integrated AV system, the Smith Centre can fully connect with Illuminate for a seamless production solution.

Visitors journey through bowie’s career from David Jones to Ziggy Stardust and beyond, they are thrust from scene to scene by a fast-paced and colourful barrage of content.
StrictlySW7
The StrictlySW7 showcase event celebrated the £28m transformation of Exhibition Road. It was the first time that all three museums had jointly hosted a party.
